INDICATIONS

The FATOR DIPROTO ZOO is indicated as an aid in the control and treatment of Amebiasis, Criptosporidiosis, Giardiasis and Isosporosis in dogs and cats.

These diseases are caused by single-celled organisms called protozoa. They are: Entamoeba histolytica, Cryptosporidium parvum, Giardia spp e Cystoisospora sp.

The diseases are characterized by discrete diarrhea and weight loss. Occur in almost all the domestic animals and many birds

Animals are infected when they ingest cysts that were eliminated by other animal, often through water, food and air. The microorganisms are found in the intestines, where they interfere with the digestion, via unknown mechanisms.

The FATOR DIPROTO ZOO® is also a good complement in the prevention of Dirofilariasis (heartworm) in dogs and cats.

Entamoeba histolytica, Cryptosporidium parvum, Giardia spp e Cystoisospora sp

The FATOR DIPROTO ZOO, when ingested by the animal, promotes a gradual decrease in the cell of the protozoan parasites. In this way there is a gradual decontamination of the environment.

Earthworm(Dirofilaria immitis)

When females of mosquitoes, fleas and ticks, intermediate hosts for the heartworm, suck the blood of dogs and cats, they introduce infected larval forms into the blood stream.

The FATOR DIPROTO ZOO, when ingested by dogs and cats which are definitive hosts, promotes a gradual reduction of microfilariae cell division and causes difficulties for their establishment in the heart of dogs and cats, where they promote injuries and lesions avoiding its reproduction to start a new evolutionary cycle.

This cycle begins again when the dog or infected cat is bitten by mosquitoes, fleas or ticks, where the microfilariae pass infected blood of animals to the intestine of vectors and sucking organs and of these for dogs and cats newly

In this way the Factor DIPROTO ZOO® interrupts the cycle of the heartworm.

CONTROL (PROPHYLAXIS) OF VECTORS

Dirofilariasis: The control of this disease that causes heart failure in dogs and cats should be associated with the control of ticks, fleas and mosquitoes, because they are the transmitters, the intermediate hosts. The coastal region and the Atlantic Forest were traditionally infested places, but with the transit of dogs and cats and the presence of vectors scattered diagnosis already exist in many distant Brazilian regions of these foci.  Therefore, keep the environment clean to control blood-sucking mosquitoes, use repellents collar son dogs, at the discretion of the veterinarian and make control of ticks on dogs specifically with the FATOR ECTO CÃO; and the flea control with the FATOR P&P(CANIL, ANIMAL and TALC).
